What is birthday fundraiser?
Birthday Fundraiser was founded in 2021 with the goal of raising Alexandria to know that it is important to help others. Due to the huge support and feedback from the first Birthday Fundraiser, it was decided to expand and make it an official nonprofit and reach more people.
what is the mission statement of birthday fundraiser?
Our mission is to inspire today's youth to make a positive difference in the world around them. This is accomplished by producing free community events, holding motivational speaking arrangements, and giving out motivational wristbands.
how are tampa bay charities selected to be featured?
A new local charity is selected each year to be used as an example of what someone has done to put their positivity out into the world and help others. A new charity is selected year year by review from our board of directors.
how much funds actually go to the featured charity?
The amount of funds that the featured charity receives each year depends on the monetary donations made towards purchasing Birthday Gift Raffle tickets at the November event. All proceeds from the raffle go directly to the feature charity.
can I donate materials instead of funds to the featured charity?
Each charity accepts donations directly. Please reach out to the featured charity to determine what items they are in need of.
what is the age range target for alexandria's birthday fundraiser event in november?
Currently the entertainment and activities are focused on children between the ages of 2-12, but all ages are well and will enjoy themselves. The raffle prizes are more adult focused while the on the spot activities are more kid friendly.
WHEN WAS BIRTHDAY FUNDRAISER APPROVED AS A 501(C)3 TAX EXEMPT CHARITY?
Paperwork was submitted in November 2021 and was approved in February 2022. The Letter of Determination is dated for the start of the tax exempt status in September 2021.
